Career Comp@nion online
Career Comp@nion online is an impartial and mediated review service of Careers, Learning and Support Information websites. This National and where appropriate European and International service is complemented by regular News bulletins and occasional supporting articles. It has been designed to help people of all ages and wherever possible support individuals at life’s key transitions from Year 9 (Age 13-14) pupils in school right through to adults planning for retirement. Users are offered access to four portals; Student (13-19), Graduate, Career Changer and Professional (Adviser/Teacher). The current site was launched in March 2011 and is maintained and updated by a team of professionals working in career guidance, education and information.
Our review and editorial team looks for the positive features in each site to help you locate reliable information quickly and decide if a site is worth visiting and exploring. They are selected for their quality, usefulness, appropriateness of content and impartiality. The reviewers also assign icons to indicate the type and range of information at a glance.
Any sites that do not meet our strict criteria for Reviews may be included as Recommended (still useful content, and/or further sources of related information). Users are encouraged to use the ‘Submit a Site’ facility for any sites they would like to be included in Career Comp@nion. Reviews and URLs are checked to ensure they remain up to date and new sites are added regularly. We also encourage users to ‘Have Your Say’ as this often provides a valuable source of additional information.
Resource Comp@nion online
Resource Comp@nion online is a Teacher/Adviser and/or Student VLE/Intranet compliant content management system for all forms of web-based media and any subject discipline. This virtual library (with optional seamless access to Career Comp@nion) can be provided Regionally with multi libraries, each with additional access so users can populate it with their own content, or to individual schools and colleges.

We also provide web-based training, careers, learning and support resources to a number of third party organisations.
